• 1 cup boiled water

• 1 cup plain yogurt

• 1 cup 2% Carnation milk

• 1 hardboiled egg yolk

• 1- 2oz jar of baby beef with broth (no veggies – this is baby food)

Mix in blender.  Store in fridge, and shake well before using.  Warm the bottle up in a pan of hot water – DO NOT MICROWAVE as the microwave will destroy and kill the enzymes. 

Dose :  use 1 oz of formula to 1oz of puppy per day – divide dose into 5 or 6 feedings daily. 

Note :  this is also an excellent supplement for the bitch as it will bring down the milk and does not cause diarrhea. 

This formula was developed by Dr Stephen Bister (Vet Opth) because many of the commercial formulas were known to cause cataracts in the puppies (this warning is on the labels of the most widely used brands) 

I personally have never had to use this yet,  but I understand that those that have absolutely swear by it.  Hope this helps the little ones.
